Michelle and Liam's cousin to join Corrie cast We've already met him at Liam's stag do, but Connor cousin Tom Kerrigan will be joining Coronation Street on a more permanent basis soon. Philip McGinley (pictured here) will play Tom, who will take over the running of the factory when Rob James-Collier (who plays Liam) leaves. Google Is World’s Most Powerful Brand

Google has taken the lead as the world’s most powerful brand with an estimated value of $86 billion (£43 billion). Meanwhile, Vodafone has been listed as the most powerful British brand with a value of $36,962 million (£18,500 million). The findings comes from brand research agency Millward Brown’s third annual “BrandZ” study: Top 100 Most Powerful Brands. The 2008 ranking is based on analysis of consumer opinion and publicly available financial data for the period January to December 2007.
